We are committed to providing you with great information and value for money, through clear, fair pricing to help you to invest with confidence.

Later this year we will bring all customers together under the Interactive Investor group of companies on the same platform, combining the strengths of each service with some new enhancements.

I look forward to sharing more details about these improvements over the coming months and am confident you’ll like what we have to offer. In the meantime, thank you for continuing to invest with us and welcome to Interactive Investor.

I no longer want my account, can I close it?

If you want to close your account and transfer your assets you can do so. However, we hope you’ll want to stay with us as we’re confident that you’ll be happy with our enhanced service and new pricing approach.

I have a TD Savings account – what will happen to this?

Your TD Savings account is operated by TD Bank N.V. which remains a subsidiary of TD Bank Group. There are no immediate changes to the operation or Terms of your TD Bank N.V. Savings account as a result of the Interactive Investor purchase of TD Direct Investing.

I am pleased to announce that TD Bank Group has reached an agreement, subject to regulatory and other approvals, to sell TD Direct Investing (TDDI) to Interactive Investor – one of the UK’s leading providers of digital market information and investing services.

I would also like to reassure you that there will be no changes to your TD Direct Investing accounts and services in the near term – there is no action you need to take and you can continue to trade and invest with us as normal.

The enlarged Interactive Investor business will be a leading online investment platform in the UK which will remain firmly on the side of individual investors; helping them invest by providing efficient customer service, competitive and transparent charges and easy access to online investment services.

We expect the regulatory approvals and legal completion of this agreement to take several months and will inform you when this has happened.
